Hidden Credentials

Miss Josephine Inez Devereaux is a true scion of the South. Born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1849 to a prominent plantation family, she grew up in a life of privilege and wealth.

She was 15 years old when Atlanta burned at the hands of the Yankees. She never forgot it. Since that day, the day she lost her family, but not her name, she has devoted herself wholeheartedly to the promotion of the Confederate cause.

She has used her invaluable skills, wealth, and influence to create an unprecedented career for the Southern Cause. She is a troubleshooter, spy, inspector, and when the situation calls for it, assassin. There are very few agents like her working for the Confederates—there is no agency under whose umbrella she operates. She answers directly to Jefferson Davis himself.

She currently has credentials that give the military-equivalent rank of Lt. Colonel.

She gives the appearance of being a Southern Belle—but there is a blade beneath every layer of that petticoat.
